Lt. Gov. calls for Special Election
Jul 10, 2012 No Comments ›› Steve GlickMichigan’s Lt. Governor Calley calls for a special election to fill the seat of U.S. Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, who resigned without notice on July 6th in the wake of a scandal. The special primary will be Sept. 5 with a special election. Calley expresses disappointment that McCotter will leave the 11th District without representation in Congress.
